Background
Background: Six is a mental health and addiction service provider that launched in 2020. Designed to support individuals and organisations through tailored recovery and wellbeing programs, Six has supported countless people rebuild their lives with long-term support and expert care.
Six had been using excel spreadsheets that they secured online using vbox to manage their patient data for a long time but they began to face challenges that they wanted to address, such as:
- Inefficient data management - Staff spent excessive time searching through large amounts of data to find patient records, treatment history and appointment details, which took away time from patient care.
- Concerns around patient safeguarding - The existing system wasn’t secure enough which raised concerns about keeping patient information safe.
- Disconnected systems - There was a disconnect between the clinical and financial aspects of their operation which made it harder to keep track of what sessions were happening and managing the associated finances.
